Heritage Management and Tourism Development Strategy

Some of the heritage elements are unable to yield the resources which are necessary to their reconstruction and reservation. However serving visitors (who are attracted with the attractiveness of these heritages) can allow additional investments with significant benefits. The future role of the heritage elements shall be defined with additional local and regional interventions.

Three working stages, the task undertaken in consultation with local stakeholders can be realized:

  • comprehensive regional economic and tourist target system with the target groups,
  • steps and interventions needed to achieve the target system,
  • the content, timing, cost and resource requirements of each intervention,
  • municipal and private-sector jobs related to the utilization of heritage items, their costs, resources and expected revenues.
